Ergonomic Assessment

Ergonomic Assessments in Fenchurch Street & London Bridge

Ergonomic Assessments are required if you want to address in detail individual worker requirements to improve health, comfort and productivity in the workplace, when a medical condition or ongoing symptoms are experienced. Applying ergonomics to the workplace can: reduce the potential for accidents; reduce the potential for injury and ill health as well as improving performance and productivity. Ergonomics is typically known for solving physical problems, however ergonomics also deals with psychological and social aspects of the person and their work.

Our physiotherapists are trained in biomechanics enabling them to offer advice on the correct set-up of desks and computers, as a poorly arranged office workstation can majorly contribute to musculoskeletal problems, pain and stiffness to wrists, shoulders and back. A review of the current set-up is carried out before recommendations are made and if any new equipment is required, however most issues are solved on site at little or no cost. We can arrange individual, group, half or full day company pricing for workstation assessments.

Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession focusing on improving movement, managing pain, and enhancing physical well-being. Through targeted exercises, manual therapy, and guidance, physiotherapists help restore function and prevent injury.

During your first visit, your physiotherapist will discuss your medical history, assess your movement and any areas of discomfort, and then develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs. This session usually lasts about an hour.

The number of sessions depends on your specific condition, severity, and personal goals. After the assessment, your physiotherapist will provide a recommended treatment timeline.

In most cases, you can see a physiotherapist without a GP referral, though some insurance providers may require one. Feel free to contact us for guidance on your specific case.

Our team includes specialists in various areas, including sports injuries, neurological conditions, and post-surgery recovery. We will match you with a therapist based on your needs, or you can request a specific clinician.
